While it appears there is a lot of accommodation available and there are new large hotels that have recently opened, particularly in Hobart, visitors to Tasmania for the first quarter of 2021 (January-March), Tasmania received over 849,000 domestic overnight visitors. This was up from 755,000 visitors for the same quarter in 2020 so it is important to do your research and book early.
